Vanquish is a Go To BCD Winner
Several years ago I got the Vanquish for travel and wanted back inflation without a backplate. It was recommended by a dive buddy that is a NAUI and PADI course director. I had a few questions and called for support and spoke with the owner/designer and he answered all my questions. Once I had it dialed in with a pair of tank weights along with two weight packs on the belt I was very happy. It is easy to pack for travel but when I got home to San Diego and tried it with my drysuit or 7ML wetsuit it became my full time BCD locally also. I have a much more traditional, expensive, bulky jacket type BCD that is still fine but sits in my attic because I prefer the Vanquish. The only drawback is with it's simplicity it doesn't have any pockets and only two D-Rings. I attach a small knife, and Safety Sausage to the D-Rings along with a lanyard for my camera.
